Philanthropic Organisations & Corporate Houses endeavour to contribute to social development & wellbeing through their responsible behaviour and care towards the society. The challenge most of these organisations face is, “How do we deliver / achieve our intent?” Disconnect between the social need, investment potential and delivery capability often constrains the allocated resource with many surprises, mostly negative. On one hand there is a resource and talent crunch within the organisation, whilst its primary purpose is operate business more efficiently with core competency. On the other hand, outsourcing to social workers or social action groups (NGO) has an element of scepticism and accountability. Resultant, many such ambitious projects remain locked in the discussions, paper or short lived.
With over about two decades of partnering with small to large corporate houses in various business process management and improvement projects, we have in consultation developed a workable CSR model that assures the initiative like a project approach in realising their vision. The professed CSR Model PREPARE is a comprehensive approach towards CSR implementation by making careful selection of projects for implementation. This also helps organisations to demonstrate compliance with the legal & regulatory framework, viz. The Companies Act (2013), India.
